Bridget's Cabinet found this beautiful pair of incredible medium 19th. Century women boots. they are from around 1850, they are made out of stunning soft velvet and fine leather, the leather has been embroidered all over. The boots are in quite good condition, they come from a French museum where they were part of an exhibition about 19th century street life in Paris. We were able to get quite a collection with shoes and hats which we also listed. The boots costed a fortune int those days so it must have been worn by wealthy people, they are in really condition. in the museum they were shown behind glass, they are even still wearable. a must have for the shoe collector
