Bridget's Cabinet found this very rare pair of early 1800's wooden pattens together with the original shoes. these pattens were used as protection for the fragile shoes to keep the shoes clean when the women were going to walk outside. Original sets like this one are usually found in museums or private collections. often you will find only the wooden pattens but very rarely both.
The shoes and the pattens are still in very good condition since they are about 200 years old.
This set will be an unique opportunity for historic shoe collectors.
