1800s Theater Opera Cape Costume
This is an incredibly beautiful and rare theater opera cape from Paris, which has a red background dotted with antique sequins and stones and ends in a train.
The cape is in mucha style so could have been worn by Sarah Bernhardt or one of the famous actresses at the time, the late 1800s.
This beautiful dress has a lovely pattern and shines nicely in the light. Imagine the person wearing it in this deep red color with sparkles of all the bling on stage... At the shoulder area, the baby blue color liner does need some attention due to aging, wear, and use, but the deep red velvet is still intact and in good condition.
This is a museum piece that you can find in museums and you now have the opportunity to own and make a beautiful decoration or showpiece for your home
