Set of 2 Burlesque Stage Headdresses
2 rare original vintage headdresses in Oceanie style, used in the French Paris theater scene, moulin rouge, Folies Bergere, crazy horse, lido. There the dancers danced and sparkled with their beautiful costumes and headdresses.
These headdresses were once part of a cabaret company, they are in original condition, some shells have been lost but that is not disturbing, they are made of a kind of raffia-like material mixed with other materials and real shells and feathers.
The headdresses have a head cap, on which the hat is designed and made, the hats have been laid flat for a while and have to get into shape by standing on a head and bending a little, they are sturdy enough to wear again to use.
very beautiful as decoration but also very beautiful special to dance with or for photo shoots, many ways to use them.
